Annual Forestry Run / Fun Day 2023

The annual Children’s Forestry Fun Run in Gilfach Goch is a lovely community event that brings us all together and is all about the children. Thanks to everyone who supported it and to those who provided entertainment and refreshments. Thanks also to all the workers who contributed their labour today, many of them volunteers.

Congratulations to all those who won a prize in the run. To those who didn’t get one this year, try again next year. I talked to one man there with his children. He had been a participant in the run in the past when he was a child. Great to carry on the tradition.
