I’m rooted in community life and want to make Gilfach Goch as green and pleasant a place to live as possible.  I'm passionate about empowering people in their communities.  That's why I'm a socialist.

•        Have lived in Gilfach Goch for 29 years with my family in Garden Village.
•        Am a journalist and linguist.
•        Ex-Labour, now sitting as an independent socialist.
•        President of Rhondda Swimming Club.
•        Member, National Union of Journalists; sit on its Welsh Executive and member of               Equality Council.
•        Delegate to RCT and Cardiff Trades Union Councils.
•        Chair, RCT Palestine Solidarity Campaign.        .
•        Am learning the accordion.
